Our Client, a Karachi-based company has the current vacancies in Security Services Department. The employment is contractual for a fixed term period of three years renewable based on company discretion.Â
SR. MANAGER VIGILANCE & SECURITY SERVICESÂ
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
• Analyze the evolving security paradigm and consequential challenges for the company in the region of employment.Â
• Organize and generate responses to safeguard company assets against the perpetual threat.Â
• Ensure implementation of short- and long-term security policy and strategy of the company in the assigned areas of responsibility.Â
• Monitoring of security systems, ensuring preventive and corrective measures as per the dictates of the area, terms and conditions of contractual works, and scheduled and unscheduled operations.Â
• Develop and maintain relations with key counterparts, relevant stakeholders, law enforcement & investigation agencies in the area of responsibility to ensure the safety of company assets and its uninterrupted operations.Â
• Oversee and monitor investigations of theft/ malpractices and other violations of the company's security-related policies to ensure smooth business operations.Â
• Periodically review and audit the security system, processes, and procedures and identify solutions.Â
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Â
• A retired officer of the Armed Forces of Pakistan with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel or equivalent.Â
• Minimum 16 years of education from HEC-recognized university Military Staff Course / Intelligence Staff Course an added advantage.Â
• Must have a minimum of 20 years of military service as commissioned officer with preferable experience of serving in an intelligence setup.Â
• Must have experience in conducting security audits to identify weaknesses in the system.Â
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the willingness to travel frequently. • The candidate should be of maximum 48 years of age as of the last date of submission of the application.Â
MANAGER VIGILANCEÂ
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
• Analyze the prevalent security environment and take measures accordingly.Â
• Capable of planning and executing strategies for the provision of a safe atmosphere for employees at specified locationsÂ
• Take a proactive role to mitigate, addressing, and resolving identified security breaches, including security incidents and risks.Â
• Capable of conducting mock drills in coordination with Law Enforcement Agencies.Â
• Formulate goals that are clear, simple, and transparent for the team to achieve while keeping a careful watch on activities that are against the interest & security of the organization and/or dangerous.Â
• Act as a liaison internally and with external collaborators to develop programs and processes to meet regulatory reporting requirements.Â
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Â
• A retired officer of the Armed Forces of Pakistan with the rank of Major or equivalent.Â
• Minimum 16 years of education from HEC recognized university with preferably Military Qualifications such as Logistics Staff Course / Intelligence Staff Course/ Basic Intelligence Course.Â
• Must have served for a minimum of 12 years as a commissioned officer with preferable experience of serving in an intelligence setup.Â
• Must have the requisite expertise to collect advanced intelligence information, identify the sources, and formulate a road map to address them.Â
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills and good computer knowledge along with a willingness to travel frequently.Â
• Must have the experience to conduct inquiries, investigations, and inspections.Â
• The candidate should be of a maximum of 45 years of age as of the last date of submission of the application.Â
JUNIOR MANAGEMENT POSITION - VIGILANCEÂ
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
• Maintain and ensure continuous liaison with law enforcement agencies and concerned government departments for smooth security operations and to have the desired level of alertness at all times.Â
• Assist in the continuous collection of discreet information to adopt proactive measures to avoid any unpleasant incident.Â
• Conduct surprise checks at various company locations to monitor the performance of the deployed security staff and highlight their areas of improvement.Â
• Ensure a foolproof entry system for employees and visitors on company premises.Â
• Establish and maintain an effective mechanism to obtain timely information on violations of security/company SOPs and incidents.Â
• Maintain liaison with various unions and committees representing permanent or outsourced employees, contractors, etc. to ensure smooth business operations.Â
• Remain abreast with prevalent law and order situations and advise the concerned company zone/ segment for adopting proactive security measures.Â
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Â
• A retired junior commissioned officer of the Armed Forces of Pakistan.Â
• Minimum 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized university.Â
• Must have served a minimum of 15 years in the armed forces.Â
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the willingness to travel frequently.Â
• Must be resourceful to interact with Law Enforcement Agencies, investigation agencies, and local administration along with a willingness to travel frequentlyÂ
• Maximum 40 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.Â
