The incumbent's role involves providing the vision, strategic planning, and leadership for the IT Project Management function.

Main Duties / Responsibilities
• To prepare and finalize project scoping and planning document, detailed project plans, and project resource profile.
• To highlight and pre-empt risks so that informed decisions are made in order to eliminate and mitigate risks by finalizing and implementing project risk assessment matrix and initial risk assessment review.
• To coordinate and manage the projects' in-house resources and liaise with groups/divisions for proper user participation.
• To ensure adequate participation and support from the Bank user and technical personnel throughout the project in tasks where the Bank has both a primary and a participative responsibility.
• To ensure timely completion of all activities that are the Bank's responsibility during requirements definition, technical architecture definition and implementation, testing and conversion strategy development, procedures and training development, additional software development, user training, system test planning and preparation, and execution.
• To monitor project costs in relation to the approved budgets and highlight any potential problems.
• To identify issues affecting project timescales, cost or quality - such as scope, decision making, personal participation, infrastructural resources, attention to accuracy and detail, timeliness and to take prompt actions to resolve them.
• To ensure that change is managed in a structured and positive way so that informed decisions are made.
• To ensure proper formulation and implementation of effective data migration strategy.
• To ensure successful deployment over all banking delivery channels.
• To finalize rollout strategy and plan by clearly understanding lead times, dependencies, limitations, and impact of change.
• To serve as a member of the Project Steering Committee.
• To facilitate learning through training in coordination with Human Resource Management Group & / or internal job rotations and interactive sessions among the employees.
• To ensure compliance with Banking laws, Regulations, Bank's instructions and procedure, maintenance of files and other records, rectification of Audit irregularities and their non-recurrence.
• To roll-out all modules in Head Office Groups / Divisions and designated branches.
• To manage all software vendor(s) for day-to-day issues, delivery of vendor obligations/deliverables and contracting matters.
• To appraise the performance of direct reports.
• Any other responsibility assigned by the competent authority from time to time.
Additional Skills Experience Preferred
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of banking solutions in multiple business areas.
• A level of knowledge and understanding of business propositions and solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and nontechnical audiences of various levels in
the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors).
• Willingly share relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise with other resources.
• Strong understanding of the requirements for project standards and documentation including timelines, status/ risk/issue reporting and communication, exception reporting and project sign off.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills.
Qualification, Age, and Experience:
• Minimum 4 years' Bachelor's Degree from HEC recognized university/institution, preference will be given to the candidates with current updated PMP / PRINCE2 or equivalent PM certification.
• Age: Up to 55 Years.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in financial services or other similar industry with proven experience in Project Management.
